Job summary

Allient Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support operational performance on the Tulsa, OK manufacturing floor. The role focuses on quality, productivity and on time delivery while applying lean principles to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead root-cause analyses, assist with new process introductions and maintain standard work documentation to uphold production efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• BA degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Automation Experience.
• 0-8 years of work experience. Internship and co-op experience is considered.
• Experience with Lean implementation in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes root cause and corrective action plans for customer quality concerns.
• Leads production teams to resolve process and product issues affecting productivity and on-time delivery.
• Identifies and eliminates barriers to one piece flow and bottlenecks affecting productivity and on-time delivery.
• Works with internal & external suppliers to ensure materials meet design and quality requirements.
• Leads cross functional teams to develop & implement new manufacturing processes for new products.
• Develops, updates and maintains production documentation including standard work and manufacturing process procedures.
• Supports design with input on manufacturing process capability during the new product development phase.
• Supports strategies in Operation Excellence as an active participant in continuous improvement projects.
• Identifies, prioritizes and processes Engineering Change Requests for continuous product and process improvement.
