Caterpillar Hungary is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. If you enjoy owning projects from start to finish, transforming ideas into real solutions, fixtures, or processes, and collaborating with multiple departments in a manufacturing facility – including production, design, supply chain, and quality – this is your opportunity.

Your job duties may include...
  1. Designing and/or directing the fabrication of necessary tooling (jigs, fixtures).
  2. Leading process improvements in manufacturing steps (manufacturing, manual welding, robotics, automation, LEAN).
  3. Collaborating with production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance departments.
  4. Participating in New Product Implementation and managing product data in ERP systems.
  5. Developing processes, creating and updating work instructions and process descriptions.
You will have...
  • BSc or MSc degree in a related field (Mechanical Engineering or similar).
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods, technologies, and processes; ability to plan, manage, and monitor manufacturing activities.
  • Decision-making and critical thinking skills, including data documentation, stakeholder communication, and prioritization.
  • Basic understanding of 3D design software.
  • An agile, curious, and collaborative mindset.
  • Ownership attitude and initiative-taking ability.
