Job description

Our client, located in Salisbury, NC , has an opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer with Plastics Molding Experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with Technical, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Purchasing team to resolve issues, lead process safety and implement improvements.
• Support safe and consistent manufacturing processes
• Responsible for Facility Process continuous improvement.
• Development of processes for proto-types and production.
• Establish training programs and monitor their effectiveness.
• Manage installation of new production equipment.
• Set-up process for prototypes and production parts.
• Work with Manufacturing to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Assist Quality Department in setting Quality standards and work instructions.
• Oversee Operations Process training programs, quality, production & maintenance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experienced in developing clear and detailed work instructions.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of improvement and managing the associated change process.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks as needed to meet objectives.
• Minimum experience required: 3-5 years Plastic Molding Experience; Industrial maintenance.
• Bachelors Degree or Associates (Technical) Degree with related experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF16949 and ISO 14001
• Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of improvement and managing the associated change process.
