Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our operations team. This role is critical to the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for composite aerospace components. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and passionate about driving efficiency on the shop floor through tooling design, process refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:• Develop, document, and improve production processes for composite and bonded aerospace parts
• Design and support tooling solutions using SolidWorks, including materials such as silicone, urethane, and engineered plastics
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical challenges and implement best practices
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for non-conformances
• Support quoting processes and provide technical input to cross-functional teams
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment
• Familiarity with composite materials, bonding, or polymer science
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with hands-on manufacturing exposure
