Actalent in Manchester, CT, seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to plan and design manufacturing processes for aerospace parts, defining methods, sequences, and tooling strategies. This role involves planning and designing manufacturing processes across the plant to maximize efficiency. You will define the method, sequence, and tooling approach for new and existing aerospace parts and assemblies. Collaborate with the shop floor to execute, troubleshoot, and improve processes. Create operation sheets and work instructions, drive tooling and fixture concepts, and support rework and repair instructions for nonconforming parts.
This position is on‑site and first‑shift, involving a mix of office work and significant shop‑floor time. The work environment is a fast‑paced manufacturing setting with tight priorities and frequent cross‑functional coordination. Comfort working directly with production teams, tooling, and quality is essential.
This is a Permanent position based out of Manchester, CT.
The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $97500.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
