Job summary

Vertiv's Anderson, SC facility is seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer to drive process improvement, production planning, and quality assurance. The role works cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and other teams to support efficient manufacturing processes.

The candidate will participate in process documentation, equipment maintenance, and training of production personnel while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance at the site in Anderson, SC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding lean, process optimization, and quality control.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Knowledge of automation and robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, optimize resource use and costs.
• Oversee maintenance, calibration, and optimization of equipment.
• Establish and enforce quality control measures and audits.
• Analyze costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
• Collaborate on new product introductions for manufacturability.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and support to production personnel.
