Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support and improve manufacturing operations across Williamston facilities in South Carolina. You will drive continuous improvement with Safety, Quality, and Operations teams, develop SOPs, and lead Lean initiatives to boost productivity and efficiency.

You will provide CAD-based engineering support, analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and mentor team members while upholding safety standards and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technical manufacturing function.
• Ability to read, write, and maintain technical documentation including SOPs.
• Experience in CAD software and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to work across multiple facilities and shifts.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain new manufacturing processes.
• Lead Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs and process control systems.
• Modify CAD drawings and provide engineering support.
• Lead small projects and cross-functional improvement teams.
