Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Documentation Specialist to document manufacturing processes and support build standardization. You will develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, partner with design and manufacturing engineers, and ensure product quality and repeatability across production lines.

The role emphasizes creating clear documentation, capturing data with imagery, and providing operator training while supporting lean initiatives and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; required for consideration.
• At least one year of related electromechanical assembly experience.
• Experience writing assembly and/or test procedures is preferred.
• Experience working with cross-departmental teams on documentation.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains files and formats for manufacturing work instructions with a focus on standardization.
• Tracks the status of manufacturing work instructions on the shop floor.
• Works with operators to obtain pictures of equipment settings and product setup.
• Adds pictures and data to manufacturing work instructions and maintains them.
• Updates work instructions to ensure compliance with Engineering and Quality Assurance.
• Provides general training to operators on use of work instructions.
