Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across multiple programs. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze workflows to increase productivity, efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Develop and implement process improvements to support operational excellence.
• Standardize manufacturing processes and best practices across operations.
• Drive waste reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
• Analyze production workflows, labor utilization, material flow, and performance to identify bottlenecks.
• Assist with capacity planning, facility layout improvements, and production transfers.
• Participate in New Product Introductions, prototypes, and production launches.
• Support capital equipment and process upgrades as part of growth projects.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions with manufacturing teams.
