Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical and operational projects from concept through implementation and sustainment. You will support manufacturing operations with process improvements, CAPEX management, and performance monitoring.

The role requires a strong project management background, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical, manufacturing, industrial, or capital investment projects.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, and risk management.
• Experience managing project budgets, CAPEX investments, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project, manufacturing, and quality data.
• Experience developing project schedules, WBS structures, and milestone management plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from concept through implementation, commissioning, and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business benefits, project costs, CAPEX tracking, milestones, risks, weekly accomplishments, and project status reports.
• Establish and maintain project governance structures, including routines, review cadence, agendas, WBS, OBS, milestone plans, and cost/rate trajectories.
• Drive action item management and ensure timely follow-up and closure across all project stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to overall planning and milestone commitments.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues.
• Ensure deliverables are on time, within scope, and within budget.
