Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking an Electronics or Mechanical Engineering professional for its Huntsville, AL facility to engineer projects and provide manufacturing support on a 2-2-3 shift from 7 AM to 7 PM.

The role focuses on process improvement, quality initiatives, and training of molding personnel. Candidates should have a technical degree and 2+ years of engineering experience, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 2+ years in an engineering environment.
• Solid communication and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to teach and mentor team members on problem-solving techniques.
• Must perform technical assignments and process improvements with urgency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate quality and process improvement initiatives on the assigned shift.
• Support daily troubleshooting of concerns in area of responsibility.
• Update and manage Process Specifications and Tolerances/Deviations for press/mold combinations.
• Train and Certify Molding Personnel on Process Specs/Tolerances/Deviations.
• Train and Certify Molding Utility and Team Leads on Troubleshooting Processes.
• Lead improvement projects based on capacity, downtime, yield, and scrap data.
