Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited program.
• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience including managing process engineering projects from concept through deployment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel for business purposes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, compression molding, and troubleshooting process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve process specifications, procedures, and controls to meet safety, quality, cost, and production objectives.
• Maintain and optimize plant engineering standards including routings and BOMs; perform time studies for labor standards.
• Provide technical support to ensure equipment and processes meet safety standards and operate efficiently.
• Research and evaluate new/existing processes and systems to improve products and customer experience.
• Provide digital/CAD support for layouts and work center designs.
• Manage installation, commissioning and validation of new capital equipment.
• Provide engineering support and project management for new products and process improvements.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives using Lean and Kaizen.
