Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead accounting and FP&A at one of our largest manufacturing sites ($100M+ revenue). This role partners with plant leadership to drive financial excellence and oversee close processes, general ledger, cost accounting, budgeting and key analytic projects.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, with 10+ years in manufacturing finance. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams and Outlook, plus leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Management in a manufacturing organization.
• Proven and effective leadership and management skills.
• Solid experience working in a manufacturing environment and with plant leadership to drive financial excellence.
• Experience managing reporting, budgeting and analysis, the general ledger and coordinating audit activities.
• Analytical thinking, ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Solid working knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems and related manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
• Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Effective communication with executive leadership, staff, and clients.
• Proactive with sound judgment and problem solving.
• Self-motivated and professional in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial policies with significant site impact.
• Analyze financial data and present reports; communicate financial status to leadership.
• Provide accounting and FP&A support to the site at all levels.
• Align department strategy with organizational goals.
• Strengthen internal communications around financial goals at all levels.
• Assist plant manager in managing inventory working capital and drive improvements.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly consolidated detail and ad hoc analyses to support decision making.
• Coordinate all audit activity.
• Other duties as assigned.
