Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounting Manager in Bristol, IN for an in-office role. You will oversee month-end close, plant financials, and KPI reporting, delivering variance analysis and cash flow forecasting. You will lead budgeting, capex analyses, and tax support while collaborating with production, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience with plant-level accounting incl. month-end close and budgeting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience in cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• CPA, CMA, MBA or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing for the plant.
• Prepare and analyze plant financial statements and KPIs.
• Deliver variance analysis on materials, labor, overhead, and scrap.
• Provide data-driven insights to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Lead the plant's annual budget and forecasts.
• Execute weekly 13-week cash flow forecasts.
• Develop financial models for capex and new opportunities.
• Communicate risks and opportunities to plant leadership.
• Support plant tax schedules and audits.
• Ensure internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Lead and develop AP/AR functions.
