Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking a Planning Associate to support daily manufacturing operations and maintain accurate ERP data. You will collaborate with Production, Materials, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure schedules reflect current needs and material availability.

The role is hands-on on the manufacturing floor, focusing on schedule integrity, prioritization, and effective communication across teams to help meet on-time delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production planning, materials, inventory, scheduling, logistics, or a related role preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on priorities, labor, materials, and customer requirements.
• Review schedules, status, and due dates; communicate changes to Planning and Operations leaders.
• Work with Production teams to understand progress, capacity, material needs, and impacts on the schedule.
• Assist adjusting job priorities and planning information as directed by Planning or Operations leadership.
• Monitor material availability against requirements and identify shortages or constraints.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Materials, Shipping, and Receiving to resolve material issues.
• Support tracking of purchased, outsourced, or vendor-supplied materials and components.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy including sales orders, jobs, dates, quantities, and material needs.

Your Impact
The Planning Associate supports daily manufacturing operations by helping maintain production schedules, material availability, job priorities, and accurate ERP data. This role works closely with Production, Materials, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, Engineering, and other operational teams to help ensure work is properly planned, materials are available, and production information accurately reflects current business needs.
This is a hands-on, hourly support role that requires regular interaction with the manufacturing floor. The Planning Associate assists with identifying schedule or material constraints, maintaining planning information, communicating changes, and escalating issues that may impact production or on‑time delivery.

Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of daily and weekly production schedules based on established priorities, available labor, material availability, and customer requirements.
• Review production schedules, job status, and due dates and communicate changes or potential issues to the appropriate Planning and Operations leaders.
• Work directly with Production teams to understand job progress, capacity constraints, material needs, and other factors that may impact the production schedule.
• Assist with adjusting job priorities and planning information based on direction from Planning or Operations leadership.
• Monitor material availability against scheduled production requirements and identify potential shortages or constraints.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Materials, Shipping, Receiving, and other teams to help resolve material availability issues.
• Support tracking of purchased, outsourced, or vendor‑supplied materials and components.
• Maintain accurate sales order, job, due‑date, material, and production information within the ERP/MRP system.
• Review ERP information for accuracy and identify transactions, dates, quantities, material requirements, or other data that may require correction.
• Support accurate operational scanning and manufacturing transactions.
• Assist with resolving ERP or planning discrepancies by coordinating with Engineering, Planning, Operations, SPMs, Procurement, and other appropriate teams.
• Monitor job status and production activity to identify potential delays, bottlenecks, or planning concerns.
• Communicate schedule, material, or system issues that could impact production or customer delivery.
• Maintain planning reports, trackers, schedules, and other documentation as required.
• Follow established planning processes and support continuous improvement of planning, material flow, and ERP accuracy.
• Participate in production meetings, scheduling discussions, or floor walks as needed.
• Perform other planning and operational support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production planning, materials, inventory, scheduling, logistics, supply chain, or a related operational role preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred.
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system for production, inventory, material, purchasing, scheduling, or job‑related transactions preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing schedules, material flow, inventory, and production processes.
• Ability to understand how material availability, labor capacity, and job priorities impact production.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced and changing manufacturing environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Materials, Procurement, Engineering, Shipping, Receiving, and other operational teams.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn manufacturing systems.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees must be able to talk, hear, and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close and color vision and focus adjustment. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and explosives. Noise levels can be very loud, requiring ear protection.
