Responsibilities

• Review upcoming production jobs and identify potential issues related to materials, labor, engineering releases, BOMs, routings, or other production constraints
• Walk the production floor to gather updates on job status and production progress
• Monitor past-due jobs, upcoming priorities, and production schedules to identify potential delays
• Maintain scheduling spreadsheets, ERP system data, trackers, and production reports
• Assist with tracking workload, production capacity, and resource utilization by department and work center
• Support production planning and scheduling activities to help maintain schedule accuracy and production flow
• Collaborate with production supervisors, planners, and operations leaders to communicate job status and scheduling concerns
• Assist with reporting, operational data analysis, and schedule performance tracking
• Support other production control, planning, and scheduling initiatives as assigned

Your Impact
As a Production Scheduling Intern, you will support the production planning and scheduling team by helping track production progress, maintain accurate scheduling data, and identify potential risks to production commitments. Your work will help ensure materials, labor, engineering information, and production resources are aligned to support efficient manufacturing operations and on‑time delivery.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite and requires regular movement between office workstations and active manufacturing environments. Employees must be comfortable walking the production floor, interacting with production personnel, and gathering real‑time updates on manufacturing activities. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and frequent use of computers and office equipment. Employees may occasionally lift materials or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
