Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Planner in San Antonio, Texas to plan and lead department processes for developing and maintaining manufacturing plans and MBOMs. You will translate design requirements into actionable work instructions and partner with engineering and suppliers to meet delivery goals.

With 5+ years in manufacturing planning, you will analyze builds, prepare cost estimates, and drive tooling, producibility assessments, and regulatory compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing planning experience with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans and leads processes to develop and maintain manufacturing plans, MBOM, and work instructions.
• Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports.
• Leads integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology for manufacturing and delivery.
• Participates in source selection to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs.
• Manages tooling from design to end-of-use disposition.
• Leads investigation and resolution of complex manufacturing issues.
• Leads producibility assessments of design concepts.
• Leads development of work statements and sequencing to support delivery.
• Drafts and updates processes to satisfy business and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews non-conformance and updates shop floor orders and supplier specs.
• Translates EBOM into MBOM to manage part demand in production systems.
