Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Manufacturing Planner for a 12+ month on-site contract in San Antonio, TX. The role requires a secret clearance to start and offers a 4x10 shift with 100% onsite work.

You will support the technical statement of work from the San Antonio location and help drive manufacturing plans, MBOMs, and cost analyses. Responsibilities include leading complex supplier integrations, developing tooling requirements, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing planning experience with electrical systems.
• Experience with GOLD.

Responsibilities

• Plans and leads department processes for developing and maintaining manufacturing plans, MBOMs, and work instructions.
• Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to meet business objectives.
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports.
• Leads integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet requirements.
• Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Develops tooling requirements from design to end-of-use disposition.
• Leads investigation and resolution of complex manufacturing issues.
• Leads producibility assessments of design concepts.
• Drafts and reviews processes to support regulatory requirements.
• Translates design requirements EBOM to MBOM for part demand in production system.

Shift: 4x10 (A shift: Sun-Wed, B shift: Wed-Sat), 2nd shift
100% onsite.

The GFE Production Engineering team is hiring an Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Planner to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
• Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports.
• Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
• Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
• Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues.
• Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
• Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
• Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
• Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
• Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.

Physical requirements:

• Work in a factory environment and able to withstand those conditions (walking, going up and down steps and scaffolding)

12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
