Job summary

The Atlas Group in Park City, KS is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Planner to design reliable, cost-efficient processes that meet customer requirements. You will analyze requirements, establish PCCI, create BOMs, and plan manufacturing sequences to optimize flow on the shop floor.

The role involves maintaining planning data, reviewing change notices, and producing detailed work instructions while contributing to continuous process improvements for overall efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read customer provided drawings.
  • Proficient with MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
  • Capable of reading portable measuring equipment.

Overview

Summary: Responsible for working closely with contact administrators and engineering personnel to design a reliable, yet, cost efficient manufacturing processes to meet customer final product requirements by performing the following duties.

  • Analyzes and develops planning from customer requirements.

  • Establishes Product Configuration Control Information (PCCI).

  • Creates Bill of Material (BOM) for each individual product.

  • Plans sequence of manufacturing processes.

  • Identifies planned operation support requirements.

  • Maintains and/or upkeeps planning database.

  • Reviews customer change notifications and updates accordingly.

  • Produces accurate and detailed working instructions to achieve efficient process flow.

  • Participates in the improvement process by documenting process changes in planning.

  • Proposes feasible solutions for future overall process improvements.
