Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Reclaim operator to perform the essential duties in the reclaim operation and daily maintenance. The role involves handling processed and unprocessed blocks, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and adhering to quality standards.

Ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related manufacturing experience. Ability to read English and perform basic math is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve blocks from ART De-blockers for reclaim processing.
  • Place unprocessed blocks into reclaim basket on ultrasonic reclaiming unit.
  • Remove cleaned blocks and place on drying rack.
  • Sort blocks into labeled bins.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area and follow safety protocols.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and safety regulations.

Job description

Summary

Performs all duties essential to the Reclaim operation. Performs general daily and weekly maintenance.

Pay Class and Pay

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $15.95 - $18.58 per hour

Essential Responsibilities
  • Retrieve processed blocks needing to be clean from the ART De-blockers as needed.
  • Properly place reasonable amount of unprocessed blocks into reclaim basket located on top of ultrasonic reclaiming unit for processing. (approx. every 12 to 15 min)
  • Safely remove the cleaned blocks from the ultrasonic unit and place on drying rack.
  • Sort clean dry blocks into the appropriate labeled bins.
  • Ability to communicate and elevate with peers and principles.
  • Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.
  • Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.
Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience & Background

One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred

Language Skills

Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

Ability General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division

Compensation range for the roles is listed above. Applicable salary rangers may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions.
