Job summary

VSP Vision in Texas is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform cleaning, decontamination, and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will remove contaminated shutters and shields, replace components daily, and follow safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, with the ability to read English and perform basic math. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and flexible scheduling, including nights and

  • General mathematical skills including basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division

Responsibilities

  • Remove contaminated shutters and shields and replace with cleaned shutters and shields daily.
  • Remove anti-reflective residue from shutters and shields using sandblasting techniques.
  • Follow decontamination and oven drying procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, workstations and overall facility.
  • Follow Compactor Operation Standardized Operating Procedures.
  • Communicate and escalate with peers and supervisors.
  • Ensure and maintain cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and facility.
  • Promote a safe and healthy workplace environment.

Job description

Ability to remove contaminated shutters and shields form within a vacuum chamber and replace/install with cleaned shutters and shields on a daily basis.

Properly remove Anti-Reflective residue from shutters and shield s using sandblasting techniques.

Ability to follow Weiser Rings decontamination and oven drying procedures.

Perform general maintenance and housekeeping to media blasting area and equipment.

Ability to follow Compactor Operation Standardized Operating Procedures.

Ability to communicate and escalated with peers and principles.

Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.

Practice and comply with all requirements promoting a safe and healthy work place environment debris.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience & Background

One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred

Language Skills

Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc.

Mathematical Skills

Ability General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division

Reasoning Ability

Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

Compensation

Compensation range for the roles is listed above. Applicable salary rangers may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions.
