Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Tape & Reel Operator at its Niagara Falls, NY site. You will set up and run multiple tape & reel machines, monitor and adjust equipment, and ensure accurate labeling and paperwork for reels.

You will organize work by due dates, track output quality, report downtime to supervision, and help maintain a clean, safe workstation while following production documents and written instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write to interpret production documents and accurately record required information.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a learned method or a calculator.
• Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity to accurately process small parts manufactured.
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean workstation.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instruction to take work direction accurately.
• Qualified to perform multiple jobs and has the responsibility of training other employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust tape & reel and peripheral equipment as necessary.
• Report equipment downtime to Supervisor/Technician.
• Prepare proper paperwork and labels for the reels.

• Monitor the output and quality of parts assigned within the department.
