Vishay Barry in Attleboro, MA is hiring for an Assembler 1 in the Tape and Reel area. You will pack small electronic components and support multiple areas in the Assembly Department.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and offers 1st or 2nd shift with a 10% differential on second shift. Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with on-site work and opportunities to grow manufacturing skills.

Vishay Barry is currently seeking applicants for an Assembler 1 in the Tape and Reel area. The Assembler 1 is responsible for packing of electronic components.

The Assembler 1 will have an opportunity to enhance their manufacturing skills by working in multiple areas in the Assembly Department. The Assembler 1 will handle, test, and inspect small electrical components.

Job Location: Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA that is conveniently located near the main highways as well as some highly recommended restaurants. There are 70 employees across two shifts working at our 40,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This would be an on-site position.

We are currently hiring for both first and second shift.

1st shift is 7 AM- 3:30 PM and second shift is 3:45 PM- 12:15 AM.

There is an added 10% differential for second shift operators.

Pay rate will be $18-$22 hourly, with a 10% added differential for second shift operators.

What you will be doing:

• Setup and operate a manual tape and reel machine.
• Read and interpret the instructions on the traveler and customer specifications to process the order.
• Handle small electrical components.
• Using a microscope and tweezers, visually inspect product and document the results.
• Tasks may vary requiring flexibility and versatility, such as cover assembly, electrical tests, visual inspection, packaging, and other miscellaneous functions.
• Computer skills are required to record work performed.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area.
