Job summary

Viatris in Vermont is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support production operations. You will visually inspect products, assist with setup and running of production equipment, maintain clean rooms, label and store products, and document production records.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, at least one year of experience, reliable mechanical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Strong mechanical, communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal and writing skills.
• Computer skills include Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the product during operation and monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Assist with the setup and running of production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection and keep the work area orderly.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations as directed by supervisor.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc.
• Coordinate the work of other Operators and back up Senior Operator as directed.
