Job summary

Viatris, a global healthcare company formed from Mylan and Upjohn, seeks an Operator to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. You will visually inspect products, assist with production equipment setup, and ensure clean, labeled, and properly stored materials.

Training new staff and documenting processes are also part of the role. The position requires a HS diploma,1+ year of experience, strong mechanical and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience, or combination of experience/education.
• Strong mechanical, communication, time management, organizational and writing skills.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, climb ladders or stairs, and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to wear a respirator and hear alarms.
• Ability to identify small defects and distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the product during operation and observe equipment for proper operation.
• Assist with the setup and running of Production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection, keeping the area orderly.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations as directed by supervisor.
