Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and support day-to-day manufacturing.
  • Load and position parts into machines.
  • Inspect finished parts for defects.
  • Read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Perform inspections, data collection, documentation, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues and help implement solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Help manage workflows, schedules, inventory, and production priorities.

Operator / Process ImprovementsLocation: Beaverton, ORPay: $24-30hr. DOESchedule: Full-TimeWho We Are:We are partnering with a well-established specialty electronics manufacturer in Beaverton that produces precision components using a variety of physical and chemical manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on production environment where you do not need to come in knowing everything—they are willing to train the right person.This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to learn technical manufacturing skills while growing into more advanced equipment and process responsibilities.What You'll Do:Operate production equipment and assist with day-to-day manufacturing activities.Load and position parts into machines that have been set up by a lead or engineering team member.Inspect finished parts and identify quality defects.Learn to use precision inspection equipment, including dial calipers and CMM equipment.Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.Perform inspections, data collection, documentation, and reporting.Troubleshoot processing issues and help implement solutions.Participate in continuous improvement projects and controlled experiments designed to improve manufacturing processes.Help manage workflows, schedules, inventory, orders, and production priorities.Work closely with Production, Quality, Sales, and other departments.As your skills grow, learn laser machining, machine setup, programming, maintenance, testing, and optimization.What's In It for You:$24/hourFull-time, stable opportunity.Training provided—experience is not required.Learn specialized manufacturing and laser machining skills.Opportunity to grow from basic machine operation into setup, programming, troubleshooting, and process improvement.Work alongside Production and Quality teams in a technical manufacturing environment.Build valuable experience with precision measurement, quality inspection, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.What You Need to Have:Strong willingness and ability to learn new things.Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to jump in.Strong attention to detail and quality.Good organization and multitasking skills.Comfortable working with numbers and basic manufacturing math.Ability or willingness to learn how to read engineering drawings.Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot issues.Strong communication skills and ability to work across different teams.Comfortable collecting data and maintaining accurate documentation.Experience with Excel, reporting, or data analysis is a plus.Manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required.The Musts:Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Reliable and dependable.Willing to learn and take on increasing responsibility.Comfortable working in a hands-on production/manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail.Next Steps:If you are mechanically inclined, curious, and looking for an opportunity where you can learn a skilled trade while building a long-term manufacturing career, we want to hear from you!Please respond with an updated resume and/or call Lauren at 971-246-8423 or Remy at 971-246-8428!.
