Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years related experience
  • QC experience helpful, but can be learned on the job
  • Reading blueprints, schematics or drawings to evaluate parts against standards
  • Able to use and read measuring tools and instruments
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and principles
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all aspects of incoming, in-process or finished equipment per standards
  • Maintain accuracy of inspection data and report results to supervisor
  • Evaluate parts against standards using blueprints or drawings
  • Quarantine non-conforming material and process it accordingly
  • Help design/implement inspection methods and procedures
  • Complete reports indicating inspection results or condition of shipments
