Job summary

Opti Staffing is partnering with a Portland-area manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Process Engineer / Operations Specialist. This hands-on role focuses on quality improvement, workflow efficiency, waste reduction, and process consistency across operations on the production floor.

You will work with production, quality, and engineering teams, gather and analyze production metrics, and implement Lean initiatives to reduce downtime and variability.

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and data-driven optimization.
  • Ability to analyze production metrics and identify trends.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing manufacturing process improvement initiatives across production operations.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify inefficiencies.
  • Observe workflows and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Partner with Production Manager to identify waste, downtime, and bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, consistency, and throughput.

Manufacturing Process Engineer / Operations Specialist Location: Portland Metro Area, OR Pay: $27–29/hr. DOE Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift Who We Are:We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company that takes pride in innovation, process improvement, and operational excellence. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk engineering role.
