Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking an Operator Manufacturing III to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. You will inspect parts and adjust tooling to maintain quality specifications and support efficient production.

Responsibilities include pre-operation checks, changeovers, GMP quality tests, loading/unloading, and operating palletizing and stretch wrap equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 years of work experience.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs., stand for prolonged periods, and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary pre-operation activities on multiple pieces of equipment to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.
• Operates multiple pieces of equipment and monitors operation, performs setup and changeover, inspects parts and makes adjustments to maintain quality.
• Performs scheduled quality assurance tests in accordance with GMP and communicates results to ensure continuous production of quality product.
• Performs housekeeping activities and sanitations on production equipment.
• May operate Palletizing machines and Stretch Wrap equipment to maintain factory efficiency, and prepares products for loading into trailers.
