Job summary

FMI in Biddeford, Maine is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support our manufacturing team. This position involves operating various machinery with on-the-job training provided. The role has a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 11:30pm, and a 10% shift differential is included.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum GED or High School Diploma, along with previous manufacturing experience preferred. Benefits include paid holidays and medical/dental benefits effective from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand job specifications is necessary.
• Basic math aptitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Needle making and sewing tasks.
• Automated weaving on looms.
• Perform Multi-D Weaving tasks such as Z finishing.
• Support pultruded carbon fiber rod drawing.
• Conduct quality inspection of completed work.
