Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in Leonia, NJ is seeking an Operator to run various manufacturing machinery, ensuring product quality and adherence to SOPs and GMPs.

Shift: 1st, 6:00AM - 2:30PM, 40 hours per week; overtime may be required. Must follow safety rules and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities include labeling accuracy, basic troubleshooting, setup/cleanup, precise data entry, and strict cGMP/SOP compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of factory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to follow safety procedures including Nestlé Life Saving Rules.
• Ability to speak, read, write in English and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Match labels with batch records for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot basic machine faults and perform routine maintenance.
• Load, unload, set-up, clean, and disassemble machinery as needed.
• Maintain accurate measurements and documentation with attention to detail.
• Report damaged or inconsistent materials to supervisor.
• Assist with overflow tasks in the operations department.
• Data entry using paper records, electronic devices, PC hardware/software, and iPads.
• Adhere to cGMP and SOPs for manufacturing standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
