Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations to lead a team responsible for producing parts and products safely and on time. You will supervise machine operators, coordinate scheduling, and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, with daily pass-downs, training, performance reviews, and collaboration with Production Leads and Managers. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Experience with control systems documentation.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety programs and ensure a safe workplace.
• Supervise workers operating manufacturing machines.
• Interview, onboard, coach and develop employees; conduct performance reviews.
• Holds daily pass down meetings and maintains time/production records.
• Collaborate with Production Leads and Managers to achieve goals.
• Ensure on-time shipping and address production issues.
• Conduct Gemba walks and Kaizen activities to improve production systems.
