Job summary

Framatome is seeking an Operations Supervisor for manufacturing in Richland, WA. The role oversees production groups, ensures quality and safety, and drives continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with vendors, customers, and staff. Onsite work with a competitive rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and management.
• Understanding of machining, assembly, fabrication, or other production methods.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of ISO standards or industry-specific quality systems; OSHA regulations.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and controls the work activities of the group in alignment with customer requirements and company policies.
• Trains, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• Approves timecards and participates in employee selection.
• Supervises staff to meet budget and schedule.
• Ensures adherence to quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Facilitates workflow improvements and implements team improvements.
• Provides expertise to staff in resolution of non-routine manufacturing/technical problems.
• Oversees special projects within Operations.
