• 5+ years of experience in operational management or production supervision.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Technical experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and organizational levels.
• Experience facilitating teams, building consensus, and engaging stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing safety, quality, productivity, and people development.
• Willingness and ability to work a rotating schedule of 12-hour day and night shifts in a plant that operates seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations during an assigned shift across safety, quality, production, and employee development.
• Drive performance targets (safety, quality, output, OEE, costs, and raw material management).
• Establish priorities and workflow direction for the shift and ensure daily management systems are in place.
• Identify root causes, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Track follow-up actions to deliver results and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and lead a production crew of ~20 full-time employees plus contingent workers.
