Job summary

Clorox is hiring a production machine operator to run, maintain, and troubleshoot our Atlanta-West facility lines. The role requires operating heavy machinery, completing changeovers, and ensuring safety and quality. Starting wage is $24.63/hour with potential for progression and shift differentials for overnight hours.

You will support maintenance activities, document work, and participate in continuous improvement with engineering. This is a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of machine operator experience preferred; 3+ years ideal.
• Resume required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and apply mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment and GMPs/SOPs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery efficiently, ensure setup and run times are accurate.
• Perform line/equipment changeovers following safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and jams promptly.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate to meet quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with equipment installations and process improvements with engineering.
• Follow safety procedures and document maintenance work.
• Attend training and stay current on new equipment and technologies.
• Adhere to OSHA and Clorox safety standards.
