Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Head of Business Operations for the Swiftwater site to drive strategic execution across Formulation, Filling, Inspection, and Packaging. You will align headcount resources with production needs, partner with Operational Excellence, Finance, Supply Chain and HR, and lead cost-saving initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership in manufacturing operations, experience with SAP, BI tools, and long-term capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; vaccine manufacturing experience preferred.
• Master's Degree highly preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations or related field within pharma.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional relationships between operations and support functions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains programs to ensure execution to schedule within the factory across FFIP operations.
• Assesses operational performance against targets and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Communicates performance metrics and insights to stakeholders and factory leadership.
• Defines internal factory interfaces for process hand-off, ownership, inventory management, and business systems.
• Serves as the voice of the factory to external stakeholders on operational performance.
• Interfaces with Operational Excellence, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and HR to align factory needs with business demands.
• Leads staffing strategy including RHC, TPW, and flexible staffing to meet budget and process needs.
• Forecasts short- and long-term staffing aligned with production requirements and business demands across FFIP.
• Provides capacity and capability planning for staffing from shop level to 5-year horizon.
• Oversees budget updates and ensures adherence to financial targets.
• Leads strategic projects driving savings and excellence.
• Collaborates with support groups to ensure unified supply to customers.
