Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston‑based company, seeks an Operations Project Manager II to independently plan, execute, and deliver moderate-scope manufacturing projects. You will own execution strategy and coordinate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will drive CPI/SPI analysis, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation while leading a cross-functional team and contributing to continuous improvement aligned with TAS’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Substitution of military leadership and/or technical work experience will be considered in lieu of an engineering degree.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, own, and execute Production and Project Execution Plans aligned with objectives.
• Lead cross-functional execution activities and drive accountability across functions.
• Own project-level cost and schedule performance, including CPI/SPI analysis and forecasting.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate execution risks related to labor, materials, capacity, and vendor performance.
• Lead corrective action planning for variances in cost, schedule, or quality.
• Represent Operations in project team meetings and execution forums.
• Work with the EPC Scheduler on internal and customer schedules to align execution plans.
• Create redlines for shop drawings and initiate ECNs based on redlines.
• Develop detailed labor forecasts and resource plans for fabrication and assembly.
• Support recovery planning and reprioritization when constraints arise.
• Participate in design reviews for constructability and risks.
• Contribute to lessons-learned and standard work documentation.
• Develop and maintain work breakdown structure for projects.
