Job summary

J B Industrial Company is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate, plan and manage all production processes and staff. You will drive efficiency, quality, and on-time performance in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires 5+ years in machined component manufacturing with supervision experience. Lean manufacturing familiarity, strong communication, and leadership are essential for success in this on-site Texas facility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a machined component manufacturing environment.
• Supervision/management experience of at least 2 years.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure components are produced efficiently and meet quality and on-time goals.
• Manage assets to support pre-set production schedules cost-effectively.
• Monitor and report shop labor efficiencies.
• Coordinate and manage improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Uphold quality standards; work with QA on improvements and corrective actions.
• Responsible for MRO, tooling, and manufacturing supply procurement.
• Track subordinates' competencies and provide leadership and training.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and required intervals for equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and safety meetings occur.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and provide input on department metrics.
