Job summary

Vapor Power International, LLC in Franklin Park, IL is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the site’s manufacturing operations and drive safety, efficiency and continuous improvement across Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Engineering teams. You will manage 30+ employees and partner with senior leadership to meet budgets and schedules for complex projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in manufacturing management, and strong Lean, PM/OEE and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years manufacturing management experience with personnel responsibility.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, production, engineering design and automation personnel while maintaining safety and quality.
• Oversee 30+ employees across Production, Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing, Automation and Engineering.
• Develop and implement production schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor backlog, lead times and capacity; adjust as needed.
• Drive optimization of inventory and continuous improvements.
