Job summary

ASM is a longtime leader in semiconductor manufacturing seeking a Manager I, Manufacturing Operations to guide a team of Process Technicians and uphold safety, quality, delivery, and productivity benchmarks. The role collaborates with Process Engineering, Production, Quality and Maintenance to optimize performance and scale capabilities for growth.

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from the minimum qualifications.
Experience leading technical teams and manufacturing operations.
Proven ability to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Strong communication and cross-functional influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Technicians.
Drive day-to-day manufacturing execution to meet safety and production targets.
Establish workforce plans, staffing models, and skill development strategies.
Partner with engineering and operations to improve performance.
Champion technician training, certification, and qualification programs.
Monitor metrics and implement corrective actions for efficiency and quality.
Lead shift operations and ensure coverage for production priorities.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and data-driven methods.
Support digital manufacturing, automation, and analytics initiatives.
Build partnerships across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality.
