Job summary

Schutz Container Systems Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to lead 150–180 staff with 3 direct reports in a high-velocity production environment.

You will ensure on-time production orders, enforce safety, oversee quality, and drive continuous improvement across assembly lines and material handling. The role requires 5–10 years of production management experience, excellent communication, and strong computer skills (MS Office, SAP, Excel).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of production management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills to include MS Office, SAP and Excel.
• Self-starter and capable of driving results.
• Strong ethical values and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet goals.
• Monitor production floor and ensure on-time completion of orders.
• Coordinate operations with other departments to optimize throughput.
• Lead production meetings and coordinate training programs.
• Interpret quality specifications and company policies for staff.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and compliance with procedures.
• Maintain accurate production counts, reports and employee records.
• Manage scrap control and cost efficiency.
• Recruiting, interviewing and hiring of staff as needed.
