Job summary

Hypertherm Associates seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations to lead a 220-strong team across manufacturing, process engineering and maintenance in Hanover, NH. Expect a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution to deliver safe, high-quality, reliable, and financially responsible results.

You will drive continuous improvement, develop talent pipelines, and partner across the enterprise to shape the future of manufacturing operations while ensuring readiness for new product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 7 years of operations leadership experience.
• Hazardous Waste Training (RCRA) may be necessary for this role
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a high-tech, fast paced manufacturing environment
• Understanding of supply chain management in JIT environments
• Demonstrated success with Lean and/or Six Sigma projects
• Track record of creating an engaging environment and developing others
• Expertise with Capacity Planning
• Capital equipment budgeting, justification, and implementation experience
• Intermediate project management experience
• Financial, data, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across boundaries

• Own the 18-month financial plan and ROI models for capital proposals.
• Represent operations in NPD processes and surface risks early.
• Turn data into action by defining key metrics and sponsor improvement projects.
• Deliver complex initiatives and mentor others in project-management practices.
• Shape the future of operations strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
