Job summary

Flexco in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager who will lead a production team, drive continuous improvement, and manage safety and quality programs. The role requires a technical background and strong people leadership.

You will oversee the production schedule, manage budgets, and work with quality to resolve issues while fostering a culture of customer focus and excellence. A degree is preferred, plus at least four years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Aide to degrees preferred per ad: associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of production professionals in a manufacturing setting.
• Be a member of the safety team; lead safety programs and sub-teams.
• Ensure audits are completed on time and enforce safety improvements.
• Learn and apply quality procedures; assure compliance with inspections.
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage the production schedule.
• Utilize data to manage performance and staffing; control overtime and budgets.
• Ensure meeting safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and inventory goals.
