Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage production processes in Garland, TX and lead a team of supervisors to meet facility goals. You will implement the company vision, support safety/compliance, and drive continuous improvement in production, quality, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, cost control, and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships to deliver results in a multi-shift environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher or at least four years of manufacturing/ops experience.
• At least one year applying continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, 5S, Lean, etc.).
• Two+ years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution facility or operations environment.
• Experience in leadership or supervising teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to production supervisors.
• Maintain production and shipping schedules, ensure quality, control costs.
• Analyze and plan production workforce requirements.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe operation of manufacturing equipment and support safety initiatives.
• Monitor quality and productivity to meet service and cost objectives.
• Oversee employee training, development, performance management, and discipline.
• Conduct regular workforce meetings to enhance Operational Excellence.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
