Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient operation of assigned production lines in a manufacturing environment. You will prioritize work, manage staff, and support maintenance activities to ensure goals are met.

You will drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives and monitor financial performance related to lines you oversee while fostering a team-focused culture for growth and development.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Prior experience managing indirect employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Environmental performance: audits, incidents documentation, safety meetings, permits, plant safety committee.
• Production: assign personnel to lines, monitor run rates, changeovers, line cleanliness, coordinate with maintenance/lab/warehouse, resolve process issues.
• Staffing: participate in interviews, conduct performance reviews, manage schedules and staffing for lines.
• Maintenance: coordinate shift maintenance, audit equipment checklists, schedule downtime.
• Systems: use SAP, IQS, LRM, CCS, CAID Charts, E-time, Ariba on Demand, MS Office.
