Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; commensurate work experience will be considered
• >10 years of manufacturing management experience

Responsibilities

• Develop operating plans and budgets in accordance with the annual Sales plan by department and product category.
• Coordinate, direct, and evaluate the activities of production management and staff.
• Ensure adequate resources are provided for training and development in each department.
• Develop improvement plans for safety, quality, productivity, and cost and establish KPIs for each area.
• Monitor departmental performance to established targets, and report progress to the VP of Operations and other executive management.
• Work to develop direct reports through coaching and mentoring; identify and develop internal talent for next level opportunities.
• Champion cost reduction and quality improvement efforts while engaging management and staff in problem solving.
• Ensure accurate process, production, and inventory data are captured, monitored and maintained.
• Identify, manage, and implement improvement projects throughout area of responsibility; drive teamwork and cooperation on projects as a supporting team member.
• Communicates and works closely with other departments throughout the facility to ensure support activities are adequately executed in subject areas.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
