Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing others in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to execute initiatives with minimal guidance and achieve goals.
• Proven success leading and motivating employees through consistent, fair methods.
• Experience in training, developing, and directing staff.
• Strong strategic decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to build relationships and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Leads and is accountable for the department in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment prioritizing efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develops leadership capabilities across all levels of the production organization.
• Manages front line supervisors and operators; attends daily production meetings and implements improvements.
• Oversees recruitment with HR; maintains motivated workforce and develops employees.
• Schedules production for the area; ensures cross‑functional collaboration; aligns with budgets and customer service goals.
• Travels to trade shows or other DPI facilities as needed; drives capex input and approvals.
• Develops and maintains relationships with business partners; ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
