Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team on the production floor, drive safety, and meet production goals. This front-line leadership role focuses on human capital, capacity planning, and continuous improvement to support value stream objectives and customer demand.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing, a High School diploma, and experience with lean methods and SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma.
• Years of Experience: 5-7 Years.
• Field of Expertise: Industrial manufacturing, wire and cable.

Responsibilities

• Promote a Culture of Zero by continuously monitoring safety rules and requirements.
• Provide coaching and feedback, establish goals and objectives, career development & planning and discussions, document work performance and administer discipline.
• Acts as a Management Representative during off-business hours - shift rotation.
• Resource management and ensuring right resources are in the right place.
• Establish training plans for new hires and cross training.
• Approve timecards in ADP daily.
• Lead Tier 1 Daily Accountability with Team Leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement to promote operational excellence.
