Job summary

Libra Industries, LLC in Richardson, TX seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead daily EMS/electromechanical production, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, safety, and cost control in a high-mix environment. You will drive cross-functional teamwork, implement Lean/Six Sigma, and partner with Engineering, Quality and Maintenance to optimize processes and equipment uptime.

Required: 7–10+ years in manufacturing with leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and ITAR awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in low-medium volume/high-mix manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership.
  • EMS industry experience or related production of electronic/electro-mechanical products preferred.
  • ITAR access awareness; U.S. Person status may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of production activities to meet goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Direct and monitor operations in a Low-Medium Volume/High-Mix environment to meet schedules.
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to maintain optimal workflow.
  • Mentor and develop supervisors and production teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, and Kaizen.
