Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant operations across production, quality, purchasing, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain. You will drive efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement while managing staff and budgets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a manufacturing-related field and at least 10 years in manufacturing, with 5 years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience; at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage senior management.
• Valid driver's license; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or Epicor).
• Familiarity with production tracking, MRP, and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations across production, quality, purchasing, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain.
• Develop and implement strategies that improve productivity, safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Monitor KPIs like throughput, yield, downtime, and on-time delivery; drive improvements.
• Manage schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to meet demand.
• Develop and execute production schedules to optimize labor and equipment use.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and other teams to support continuous improvement.
• Develop and monitor operating budgets and CAPEX; mentor the team.
